Overview

Job ID: Afaq - Warehouse Branch

Responsibilities

• Support the daily management of operational duties and deputize for the Operations Manager when required.
• Prioritize and continually improve safety at the delivery station; supervise logistics assistants, coordinators and delivery associates to meet or exceed operational KPIs.
• Monitor coordinator and associate performance, coach as needed, and partner with supporting departments to improve logistics processes and operations; communicate with delivery service providers to set expectations and raise quality.
• Interview candidates for associate roles.
• Brief and monitor the workload of all drivers and associates; maintain attention to detail ensuring all administrative tasks are accurately completed; measure and monitor workflows and daily metrics to assist with tracking, trending, and reporting on site performance.
• Assist with training and mentoring new Associates; resolve process-related issues as required.
• Be flexible to work in different shifts and perform overtime when needed.
• Together with the Operations Manager, ensure the function is sufficiently resourced, including training needs, absence and performance management, coaching, and continuous productivity monitoring.
