Formación

Logistics Specialist (2371152 / 001) Barcelona, Spain

An excellent opportunity as Logistics Specialist is available now in Barcelona for a multinational of the luxury sector.

Mission:

To follow up shipments from HQ Warehouse to final customers. Interface between Local Customer Service and carriers.

Main functions and responsibilities:

  • To organize and coordinate direct transport with carriers and HQ Warehouse.
  • To follow up direct shipments in order to ensure the service to the final customers.
  • To communicate with Local Customer Service to solve customers’ complaints.
  • To analyze logistics incidences and take action with carriers to reduce delivery issues.
  • To carry out the tasks of issuing and preparing documents for specific countries.
  • To review POD (Proof of Delivery) date is correctly entered to ensure proper invoicing.
  • To monitor returns being in contact with Local Customer Service and carrier.

Requirements for the role:

Experience:

  • At least 1 or 2 years in Logistics or Operations areas.

Education:

  • Engineering Degree or Business Administration.
  • Ideally Master in Logistics.

Languages:

  • English: Advanced level.

Skills:

  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Time management.
  • Team spirit.
  • Well organized: close attention to detail.
  • Alignment & compliance: walking the talk.
  • Commitment.

Specific Knowledge / Nice to have:

  • Warehouse and logistics processes.
  • ADR / LQ knowledge, not mandatory.
  • Advanced Excel / SAP.

This important multinational in the selective luxury sector and cosmetics offers a temporary position starting on the 21st of April until minimum the 15th of September or even more, with possibilities to extend into a permanent contract, in an excellent working environment.
