Job summary

DP World is seeking a Logistics Engineer to support Contract Logistics operations across Western and Southern Europe. You will analyse performance, drive improvements, and assist in implementing new customer operations while collaborating with site leadership and cross‑functional teams.

Travel 30–60% across Europe will be required to support sites, launches, and expansion projects, contributing to operational excellence and successful transitions into day‑to‑day operations.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in logistics engineering or related fields.
• Experience with WMS, reporting tools, and operational performance metrics.
• Willingness to travel 30–60% across Europe.
• Strong collaboration with cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Support multiple Contract Logistics sites across Western and Southern Europe with engineering analysis, operational improvements, and performance optimisation initiatives.
• Develop and maintain labour models, capacity plans, productivity calculations, and operational performance reporting.
• Analyse operational data and identify opportunities to improve productivity, service quality, efficiency, and cost performance.
• Partner with site leadership teams to enhance warehouse processes, resource utilisation, space optimisation, and operational workflows.
• Support the implementation of new customer operations, warehouse launches, and expansion projects, ensuring operational readiness and successful transition into business-as-usual operations.
• Assist with warehouse fit-outs, process implementation, testing, commissioning, and launch activities where required.
• Lead or support continuous improvement projects using Lean and structured problem‑solving methodologies.
• Monitor key operational metrics and provide recommendations to improve performance and customer outcomes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Operations, IT, Automation, Solution Design, Procurement, and Project Management to deliver operational and strategic initiatives.
• Support standardisation and best‑practice sharing across the regional Contract Logistics network.
• Promote a culture of safety, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
