Job summary

VIA Logistics Professionals seeks a Senior Project Manager Europe for a leading international 3PL provider to lead strategic logistics transformation projects across Europe, including warehouse implementations, relocations, start-ups and automation initiatives.

You will collaborate with customers, operations, IT and senior stakeholders to drive change and operational excellence, with travel across Europe and a hybrid working model with Zaragoza as home base.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering & Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in international 3PL or contract logistics.
• Prince2 certification or comparable project management qualification.
• Proven experience managing large and complex implementation, migration or logistics projects.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills in English.
• Ability to engage with senior management, directors and vice presidents.
• Structured working style with strong organisational and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel across Europe approximately 10% to 20% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Lead international logistics projects using a Prince2 project management methodology.
• Manage multidisciplinary project teams through all implementation phases.
• Facilitate workshops with customers, operations, IT and other stakeholders to define requirements and processes.
• Identify, assess and mitigate project risks and issues.
• Report on project progress, milestones and challenges to senior management and project boards.
• Drive change management activities and support the successful adoption of new processes and systems.
• Develop and facilitate training programmes for end users.
• Identify and support automation opportunities within logistics and warehouse operations.

Job description

Lead strategic logistics transformation projects across Europe for a leading international 3PL provider. As Senior Project Manager Europe, you will be responsible for delivering complex warehouse implementations, relocations, start-ups and automation projects across multiple countries. Combining project management with change management, you ensure new operations, processes and systems are successfully implemented and embraced throughout the organisation. You will work closely with customers, operations, IT teams and senior stakeholders to drive impactful change and operational excellence across Europe.

What will you do?

• Lead international logistics projects based on a Prince2 project management methodology
• Manage multidisciplinary project teams throughout all implementation phases
