A leading company in logistics seeks an experienced operations coordinator to support the logistics manager on-site. This role includes supervising logistics labor, managing deliveries, and ensuring safety standards. The ideal candidate has over ten years of experience in logistics with excellent IT and communication skills.
Liaise with and assist the logistics manager to coordinate onsite logistics operations.
Act as deputy for the logistics manager during rotation periods.
Supervise and coordinate onsite logistics labor, including maintaining roadways & walkways, coordinating with trade partners, lifting operations, cleaning activities, and traffic marshalling.
Manage Dornan's onsite plant and assets.
Ensure the provision of materials and consumables for site use.
Attend DABS and coordination meetings representing Dornan.
Ensure the safe and correct handling of all materials.
Manage deliveries and coordinate them via the online system.
Coordinate lifting activities via the online system.
Weekly markup of DWGs to highlight safety systems, access/egress, and site evolution.
