Join a dynamic and influential force in Spanish journalism as a Local Writer! With nearly 30 years of established presence, our national newspaper brand has become a cornerstone in the community. We publish seven regional newspapers that amplify the voices and experiences of the community, celebrating local culture while guiding and supporting the integration of foreigners into Spanish life.

Tasks

Role Overview:

As a Local Writer, you will become the bridge between cultures, using your words to engage and inform, while highlighting the stories that matter most to our readers.

Your stories will resonate with readers, providing them with insightful, compelling information about culture, local news, and the daily lives of community members. Your work will not only entertain but also educate and empower, creating a sense of belonging for people from all walks of life.

Requirements

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Proven experience as a writer or journalist, preferably focusing on community topics.
• Legal eligibility to work in Spain.
• Ownership of a reliable vehicle for attending events and conducting interviews.
• Deep understanding of the community and alignment with our mission to support cultural integration and the vulnerable.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with diverse groups of people.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in Spanish is a strong advantage.
• You must be based in the Costa Blanca South area.
