EU - Spain: Marketing Manager

About the role:

We are seeking a Marketing Manager to focus on European markets, particularly Germany, France, Spain, and Italy. This position is remote and requires managing diverse markets and cultural nuances.

Qualifications:

  1. Educational Background:
  2. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field
  3. Master’s degree in International Marketing, Digital Marketing, or Business Administration (optional but advantageous)
  4. Experience:
  5. Proven digital marketing management experience, preferably in an agency setting
  6. Experience with international markets and understanding cultural nuances in Germany, France, Spain, Italy
  7. Experience working remotely and managing multi-channel campaigns across multiple markets
  8. Language Skills:
  9. Fluent in English; proficiency in German, French, Spanish, or Italian is highly advantageous
  10. Knowledge of local marketing trends and consumer behavior in these countries
  11. Technical & Digital Marketing Skills:
  12. Proficiency with SEO, SEM, content marketing, social media, affiliate and influencer marketing
  13. Experience with marketing automation and analytics tools like HubSpot, Google Analytics, SEMrush
  14. Content strategy knowledge tailored to European markets
  15. Cultural Understanding:
  16. Deep understanding of local consumer behaviors and regulations such as GDPR
  17. Ability to localize campaigns effectively
  18. Leadership & Communication Skills:
  19. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  20. Leadership ability to manage remote teams and coordinate cross-functional groups
  21. Strategy & Analytical Skills:
  22. Ability to develop and implement marketing strategies aligned with business goals
  23. Strong analytical skills to interpret data and optimize campaigns
  24. Experience managing budgets across multiple campaigns and markets
  25. Adaptability & Flexibility:
  26. Comfort working across different time zones and in dynamic environments
  27. Client Relationship Management:
  28. Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships and provide strategic insights
  29. Experience in client reporting and communication
  30. Tools and Platforms:
  31. Familiarity with CRM systems like Salesforce, Pipedrive
  32. Experience with ad platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, LinkedIn Ads
  33. Certifications (Optional):
  34. Google Ads, Google Analytics, HubSpot, Facebook Blueprint, SEMrush or Moz certifications
  35. Soft Skills:
  36. Problem-solving, time management, proactive mindset, entrepreneurial spirit

Other Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento)
  • Understanding of B2B marketing and ABM strategies
  • Network of local partners or influencers in target markets
