Job summary

Capgemini Portugal is seeking a Loan Officer to join our Porto team in a hybrid work arrangement. You will perform ownership verification, record keeping, and reconciliations for loan and fund records with accuracy and diligence.

You will liaise with clients, asset managers and fund accountants, ensuring compliance with controls and contributing to process improvements. English proficiency and strong Excel skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Academic background in Management, Economics, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in financial operations, loan administration, or related operational banking roles.
• Solid understanding of reconciliation processes, data validation and internal controls in financial services.

Responsibilities

• Perform Ownership Verification and Record Keeping for loan and fund records.
• Conduct document, position and holdings reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate documentation, reporting and certification in line with internal controls.
• Liaise with clients and stakeholders to obtain information and resolve queries and support process improvements.
