HCL Technologies Limited is seeking a Project Manager to drive operational efficiency and support business performance across its outsourcing operations in Spain and Portugal, with a hybrid model and an office presence in Madrid.

The role focuses on business analysis, process optimization, recruitment support, and oversight of key operational processes to enable informed decision-making, ensure compliance, and contribute to regional objectives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-4 years of relevant professional experience in business analysis, finance, and operations, preferably within IT outsourcing or technology services.
• Knowledge of financial principles, budgeting, and cost analysis.
• Knowledge of recruitment processes and workforce planning in a multinational environment.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Support the Country Lead with operational management and process improvement initiatives within IT outsourcing projects across Spain and Portugal.
• Conduct business analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, providing actionable recommendations to management.
• Support recruitment processes by partnering with talent acquisition teams, understanding workforce needs, and ensuring timely onboarding of talent.
• Analyze operational data, prepare reports, and present insights to stakeholders for informed decision-making.
• Develop and implement solutions to business challenges, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions.

We are on the lookout for a Project Manager . This position is essential to driving

operational efficiency and supporting business performance across our outsourcing operations in

Spain and Portugal. Through business analysis, process optimization, stakeholder coordination,

recruitment support, and oversight of key operational processes, the position enables informed

decision -making, ensures compliance, and contributes to the achievement of regional business

objectives .

Detailed responsibilities

• Support the Country Lead with operational management and process improvement initiatives within IT outsourcing projects across Spain and Portugal.
• Conduct business analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, providing actionable recommendations to management.
• Support recruitment processes by partnering with talent acquisition teams, understanding workforce needs, and ensuring timely onboarding of talent.
• Analyze operational data, prepare reports, and present insights to stakeholders for informed decision -making.
• Develop and implement solutions to business challenges, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process gaps and recommending best practices.
• Act as a key point of contact for cross -functional teams and external partners in the region.

Hybrid / Full - Time.

Classification: Internal

• Manage and oversee Purchase Order (PO) processes for Spain and Portugal, ensuring accuracy, timely creation, tracking, and closure in line with internal controls and client requirements.
• Act as liaison between operations, finance, procurement, and external vendors to resolve PO-related issues and ensure smooth financial workflows.
• Coordinate and support the management of public grants and subsidies in Spain (e.g. operational or innovation-related), including tracking expenditures, ensuring compliance, and supporting required reporting.
• Collaborate with finance and legal teams to ensure grant-related activities comply with local regulations, funding conditions, and audit requirements.

Skill requirements

• Minimum 3- 4 years of relevant professional experience in business analysis, finance, and operations, preferably within IT outsourcing or technology services.
• Knowledge of financial principles, budgeting, and cost analysis.

The role follows a hybrid working model, with an expectation to work from the Madrid Las Rozas office at least two days per week, supporting effective collaboration while maintaining flexibility.
