Job summary

Airbus Defence and Space SAU in Spain seeks an LMA Technician B1/B2 to join the EFA MRO Airforce Bases in Gando. The role covers maintenance and support for the Eurofighter program, performing modification embodiment, upgrades, checks and component installation.

You will collaborate with aircraft technicians, adapt to customer needs, and work across cross-functional projects under EASA rules, with a focus on continuous improvement and safety.

Qualifications

• EASA or EMAR Part 66 license B2 or B1/B2.
• Type rating on aircraft is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Continuous improvement mindset and quality awareness.
• Familiar with jigs and tools used in aircraft maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Execute modification embodiment or repair working party on complex cross-functional projects per EASA/FAR Part 145.
• Conduct upgrades embodiment activities on external customer aircraft.
• Perform major and complex repair projects.
• Perform checks, inspections, removal and installation of components and systems.
• Provide assistance to aircraft technicians and mechanics on various tasks.
• Support Spanish Air Force operations with hourly and calendar inspections on Eurofighter aircraft.
• Ensure continuous improvement.

Job Description:

An opportunity for a LMA Technician B1, B2, B1/B2 has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space. The selected candidate will join the EFA MRO Airforce Bases in Gando

The sucessfull candidate will be performing maintenance and support tasks for Eurofighter Program

Tasks & Accountabilities

Your main tasks and accountabilities will include:

• Execution of modification embodiment or repair working party, managing complex, high value and cross-functional projects compliant with EASA/FAR Part 145 airworthiness regulation.


• Conduct upgrades embodiment activities on external customer aircraft


• Perform major and complex repair projects


• Perform checks, inspections, removal and installation of components, and systems adjustment


• Provide assistance to aircraft technicians and mechanics on various tasks


• Give support to Spanish Air Force operations performing hourly and calendar inspections. Maintenance activities will be performed to Eurofighter aircraft.


• Ensure continuous improvement.

Required Profile

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

• EASA or EMAR Part 66 License B2 or B1/B2


• Type rating included will be a plus


• Strong interpersonal and communication skills


• Continuous improvement profile and Quality knowledge or experience.


• Used to work with jigs and tools in aircraft and components maintenance


• Proactive and collaborative mindsets are a must due to the work being performed at the customer's facilities.
