Job summary

Airbus Defence and Space SAU in Albacete seeks a Licensed LMA Technician (B1/B2) to join the EFA MRO Airforce Bases team, delivering maintenance and support for Eurofighter aircraft.

You must hold an EASA/EMAR Part 66 B1/B2 license (type rating a plus) with strong teamwork and a continuous improvement mindset. Role involves on-site work with customer facilities and hybrid working when possible.

Qualifications

• We are looking for candidates with EASA or EMAR Part 66 license B1, B2 or B1/B2.
• Type rating is a plus and could be beneficial.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required.
• Continuous improvement mindset and quality knowledge or experience.
• Experience using jigs and tools in aircraft/components maintenance.
• Proactive, collaborative mindset due to customer-site work.
• Flexibility to meet changing customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Execute modification embodiment or repair working party for complex projects.
• Conduct upgrades embodiment activities on external customer aircraft.
• Perform major and complex repair projects.
• Carry out checks, inspections, and component installations.
• Provide assistance to aircraft technicians and mechanics.
• Support Spanish Air Force operations with inspections, maintenance on Eurofighter aircraft.
• Drive continuous improvement across duties.

Job Description:

An opportunity for a LMA Technician B1, B2, B1/B2 has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space. The selected candidate will join the EFA MRO Airforce Bases in Albacete. The sucessfull candidate will be performing maintenance and support tasks for Eurofighter Program.

Tasks & Accountabilities

Your main tasks and accountabilities will include:

• Execution of modification embodiment or repair working party, managing complex, high value and cross-functional projects compliant with EASA/FAR Part 145 airworthiness regulation.
• Conduct upgrades embodiment activities on external customer aircraft
• Perform major and complex repair projects
• Perform checks, inspections, removal and installation of components, and systems adjustment
• Provide assistance to aircraft technicians and mechanics on various tasks
• Give support to Spanish Air Force operations performing hourly and calendar inspections. Maintenance activities will be performed to Eurofighter aircraft.
• Ensure continuous improvement.

Required Profile

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

• EASA or EMAR Part 66 License B1, B2 or B1/B2
• Type rating included will be a plus
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Continuous improvement profile and Quality knowledge or experience.
• Used to work with jigs and tools in aircraft and components maintenance
• Proactive and collaborative mindsets are a must due to the work being performed at the customer's facilities.
• Flexibility due to the changing needs of the customer
