Job summary

Airbus Defence and Space SAU is seeking an LMA Technician B1/B2 to join the EFA MRO Airforce Bases in Gando, performing maintenance and support tasks for the Eurofighter program. The role involves complex repair work, upgrades, and assisting technicians on diverse tasks at customer facilities.

The incumbent will perform hour and calendar inspections for the Spanish Air Force, work with jigs and tools, and contribute to continuous improvement in a multicultural environment.

Qualifications

• EASA Part 66 license required.
• B2 (or B1/B2) type rating is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required.
• Continuous improvement mindset and quality knowledge/experience.
• Experience with aircraft maintenance using jigs and tools.

Responsibilities

• Execute modification embodiment or repair working party on Eurofighter program.
• Conduct upgrades embodiment activities on external customer aircraft.
• Perform major and complex repair projects.
• Perform checks, inspections, removal and installation of components, and systems adjustment.
• Provide assistance to aircraft technicians and mechanics on various tasks.
• Support Spanish Air Force operations performing hourly and calendar inspections.
• Maintenance activities for Eurofighter aircraft.
• Ensure continuous improvement.

Job Description: An opportunity for a LMA Technician B1, B2, B1/B2 has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space. The selected candidate will join the EFA MRO Airforce Bases in Gando The sucessfull candidate will be performing maintenance and support tasks for Eurofighter Program Tasks & accountabilities.

Your main tasks and accountabilities will include:

• Execution of modification embodiment or repair working party, managing complex, high value and cross-functional projects compliant with EASA/FAR Part 145 airworthiness regulation.
• Conduct upgrades embodiment activities on external customer aircraft.
• Perform major and complex repair projects.
• Perform checks, inspections, removal and installation of components, and systems adjustment.
• Provide assistance to aircraft technicians and mechanics on various tasks.
• Give support to Spanish Air Force operations performing hourly and calendar inspections.
• Maintenance activities will be performed to Eurofighter aircraft.
• Ensure continuous improvement.

Required Profile

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

• EASA or EMAR Part 66 License.
• B2 or B1/B2 Type rating included will be a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Continuous improvement profile and Quality knowledge or experience.
• Used to work with jigs and tools in aircraft and components maintenance.
• Proactive and collaborative mindsets are a must due to the work being performed at the customer's facilities.
• Flexibility due to the changing needs of the customer.
