Job summary

Ultralytics is seeking an experienced LLM Engineer to advance our LLM capabilities. You will research, fine-tune, deploy state-of-the-art models and build APIs to enable seamless LLM integration across Ultralytics solutions.

You will optimize performance for scalability, collaborate with a dynamic team, implement data-quality checks, and contribute to internal tools and RAG applications. Strong NLP and production deployment skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Python and AI/ML frameworks experience.
• Extensive experience with LLMs and transformer architectures.
• Strong NLP understanding: tokenization, embeddings, fine-tuning.
• Proven experience deploying LLMs in production.
• Expertise with APIs from Anthropic, OpenAI, Voyage, DeepSeek, Gemini.
• Experience building internal tools using LLM capabilities.
• Hands-on in designing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) apps.
• Proficient in query enrichment and reranking methods.
• Familiarity with SOC 2 and ISO compliance requirements.
• Strong debugging and optimization skills.
• Excellent technical writing and documentation.
