SIX Group Services Ltd. in Madrid is seeking a Performance Test Engineer (Linux) to join our trading platform team. You will design, implement, and automate non-functional tests, focusing on latency, throughput, and failover across pre-prod and prod-like environments.

You will work with testing, infrastructure, network, and security teams in a highly dynamic, agile setting, and may occasionally work outside standard hours for major tests or incidents.

Formación

• Requires strong Linux engineering background and scripting in Bash/Python.
• Experience implementing automated non-functional tests and market-like traffic patterns.
• Good understanding of networks and low-latency systems.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools and test automation pipelines is required.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, and execute performance testing strategies for a matching application focusing on latency and throughput.
• Build and automate test harnesses, scenarios, and CI to assess performance and scalability.
• Visualize results with dashboards and provide reports to engineering stakeholders.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, network, and security teams to model market conditions and tune systems.
• Troubleshoot issues from network packets to OS and application behavior; drive root cause analysis.
