Larian Studios in Barcelona is seeking a Lighting Artist to join our team and help craft high-quality lighting for both environments and cinematics. You will work closely with the art director, cinematic team, and engineers to achieve consistent, visually striking results across multiple levels and platforms.

Formación

• 3+ years of experience creating lighting for real-time environments and/or cinematics in game development.
• Strong portfolio/showreel demonstrating high-quality real-time lighting with understanding of light, color, mood, and storytelling.
• Hands-on experience with lighting in real-time engines (Unreal Engine or Unity).
• Solid understanding of PBR workflows, real-time rendering constraints, and lighting interactions with materials and post-processing.

Responsabilidades

• Create high-quality lighting for in-game environments and cinematics, collaborating with art director and cinematic team.
• Maintain lighting consistency across scenes and locations, balancing artistry with gameplay clarity and performance.
• Collaborate with technical artists to follow lighting workflows, tools, and standards.
• Optimize lighting setups to ensure strong visuals within performance budgets across platforms.
• Share knowledge and continuously improve personal craft within the team.
