The SPA Studios in Madrid (Las Rozas) is seeking a 2D Lighting Artist to define character lighting and volume for a high-profile animation project. Onsite role with a 6–9 month contract, starting Nov/Dec 2025, offering a salary range of €32,000–€45,000 per year.

Ideally you bring strong illustration and colorkeying skills, together with proficiency in vector-based software, to deliver emotionally resonant lighting across frames.

Please note that this is not a 3D lighting role. We are looking for an artist who understands the nuance of 2D character lighting. You will be responsible for defining the volume and atmosphere of our characters, ensuring that every frame possesses the depth and emotional resonance that defines The SPA Studios’ signature look.
