ALTEN Spain, a leading force in the IT, Engineering and Life Sciences industries, is on the lookout for a vibrant and driven Life Sciences Technical & Project Support Specialist to join our team in the Life Sciences Technical Direction.

What are we looking for?

We are seeking a highly motivated Technical & Project Support Specialist to join our team in Madrid. In this role, you will provide essential support to the Technical Direction, ensuring smooth project execution, optimizing processes, and contributing to strategic decision-making.

Permanent position, based in Madrid.

Fluent English + French mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Tracking & Performance Monitoring: Conduct monthly project follow-ups, track progress, monitor budgets, and ensure structured reporting to enhance project visibility and success.
2. Bid Support: Assist in bid management by coordinating with technical and business teams, preparing proposals, and ensuring high-quality submissions.
3. PMO & Knowledge Management: Develop templates, maintain SharePoint repositories, and streamline documentation workflows for improved efficiency.
4. Industry & Regulatory Intelligence: Support targeted research, facilitate workshops, and structure insights to keep teams informed of the latest trends and regulations.
5. Training & Communication Support: Develop training materials and communication strategies, engaging with subject matter experts to extract and refine key insights.
6. Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement: Identify inefficiencies, propose improvements, and implement solutions to enhance workflows and operations.

Your Profile

1. Education: Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Bioengineering, Biochemistry, or a related field. A PhD or PharmD is a plus.
2. Experience: Prior experience in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry is a plus.
3. Proactive & solutions-oriented: Takes ownership, seeks out key information, and challenges inefficiencies.
4. Strong analytical & organizational skills: Synthesizes complex data into clear, actionable insights.
5. Effective communicator: Engages stakeholders and tailors messaging for clarity and maximum impact.
6. Languages: Fluent in English & French (both written and spoken).
