This position is responsible for overseeing the planning and coordination of R&D projects, managing external scientific collaborations, and supporting business development initiatives.

The role bridges science and strategy, helping to drive the company's innovation, partnerships, and positioning within the biotech landscape.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESBusiness DevelopmentSupporting the business strategy (Development Plan, Target Opportunity Profile, Investor Deck, Regulatory Plan, Roadmap...).Support deal origination through initial outreach, qualification of prospects, and coordination of conferences, meetings and presentations.Help prepare business proposals, presentations, etc.

to articulate value propositions to partners and / or clients.Assist in the management and maintenance of BD databases and tools.Support the creation, revision and execution providing strategic input to legal documents, including confidentiality agreements, material transfer agreements, consortium, services / consultancy and collaboration agreements.Act as a strategic bridge between R&D and the executive team, ensuring scientific developments are aligned with corporate objectives and commercial potential.Strategic analysis & Market IntelligenceDevelop a deep understanding of the biotech and pharma landscape, key competitors, and industry trends.Collaborate with scientific and clinical teams to extract and interpret relevant insights from biological data, clinical trial results, and regulatory information, focusing on their implications for business strategy.Translate complex scientific findings into actionable business opportunities, supporting positioning, market access, and licensing efforts.Build business cases to define challenges and opportunities for D-Sight and support strategic decision making.Formulate data-driven, define challenges and positioning opportunities aligned with the company's growth and objectives.Collaborate with the CEO to assess these challenges and opportunities to support strategic decision-making.Scientific and Project ManagementResponsible for creating and maintaining integrated project development plans and timelines, for tracking and reporting project progress, and for preparing project-related meeting minutes, presentations, reports, and documents.Support in manuscript elaboration for grant applications, scientific study reports, R&D technical partnerships, etc.Responsible for managing collaborations with key stakeholders (mainly contract research organisations and collaborators from academia) :

build and maintain strong relationships and foster collaborative partnerships and alliances to drive the company's strategic initiatives.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSEducation :

Ph.D. degree in a relevant fieldExperience :

4+ years' experience in business development, strategic consulting, knowledge and tech transfer office or industry-facing scientific roles in biotech / start up.

Strong ability to learn fast in areas outside core expertise.Skills and competencies :

Proven experience performing Project Management and Business Development.Strong analytical, data analysis and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.Pro active and results oriented with the ability to prioritize plans into concrete action.Ability to work independently, take decisions, manage multiple projects, and adapt to changing priorities.Ability to work and adapt in a fast paced environment.Excellent communication and presentation, interpersonal skills, team player, comfort collaborating across technical and executive teams.Proficiency with Excel and Power Point.Fluent in English and Spanish.Preferred but not required :

Experience in ophthalmology or neurodegeneration fields.Previous exposure to licensing deals or partnership development.Familiarity with clinical trial design and regulatory pathways (EMA, FDA).MBA or formal training in business / strategy.WHAT WE OFFERImpactful Work :
