Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Director of Social and Community Services to lead operations in León. You will shape service delivery, drive program innovation, and ensure impactful outcomes for communities served in León, Guanajuato.

This executive role requires a visionary leader with a record of successful program management and fundraising. You will oversee staff, build partnerships with government and donors, and guide strategic plans while managing budgets and ensuring quality service delivery

Qualifications

• Master's degree required for leadership in social services.
• PhD is a plus for research or advanced policy work.
• 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in social services or community development.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and direction for all social and community service programs in León, Guanajuato.
• Develop and implement comprehensive plans to address identified community needs and organizational goals.
• Oversee the management of program staff, including recruitment, training, supervision, and performance evaluation.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, community leaders, funding partners, and other stakeholders.
• Lead fundraising efforts, including grant writing, donor relations, and campaign development.
• Ensure effective program implementation, monitoring, and evaluation, utilizing data to drive improvements.
• Manage departmental budgets, ensuring financial stewardship and accountability.
• Champion the organization's mission and advocate for the needs of the communities served.
• Stay abreast of current trends, policies, and best practices in social services and community development.
• Represent the organization in public forums, conferences, and meetings.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the department.
• Oversee the expansion and development of new services and initiatives to meet evolving community demands in Guanajuato.
