Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and direction for all social and community service programs in León, Guanajuato.
• Develop and implement comprehensive plans to address identified community needs and organizational goals.
• Oversee the management of program staff, including recruitment, training, supervision, and performance evaluation.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, community leaders, funding partners, and other stakeholders.
• Lead fundraising efforts, including grant writing, donor relations, and campaign development.
• Ensure effective program implementation, monitoring, and evaluation, utilizing data to drive improvements.
• Manage departmental budgets, ensuring financial stewardship and accountability.
• Champion the organization's mission and advocate for the needs of the communities served.
• Stay abreast of current trends, policies, and best practices in social services and community development.
• Represent the organization in public forums, conferences, and meetings.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the department.
• Oversee the expansion and development of new services and initiatives to meet evolving community demands in Guanajuato.

Requirements

• Demonstrated success in fundraising, grant writing, and resource development.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• In-depth knowledge of social issues, community needs assessment, and program evaluation methodologies.
• Experience in managing diverse teams and fostering a positive work environment.
• Strong understanding of the socio-economic landscape of León and Guanajuato .
• Ability to work effectively in both office and remote settings.
• Strong networking and partnership-building capabilities.
• Proficiency in Spanish is essential; English proficiency is highly desirable.
