South Tours in Málaga offers walking tours, tapas and gastronomy experiences, private group programmes and nightlife formats. Since 2013 we operate in Málaga, Granada and Sevilla with a small hands-on team and direct management access.

We are looking for a licensed guide to build a professional career in Andalusia, delivering English tours with Italian or French and handling private and B2B programmes. Occasional support on Granada or Sevilla operations is required, with travel expenses covered.

Formación

• Mandatory licence: Official tour guide licence valid for Spain or EU recognition.
• English at B2 level or higher, plus Italian or French at B2 level or higher (priority for all three).
• Right to work in Spain (EU/EEA citizenship or valid work permit).
• Availability for weekend, evening and public-holiday shifts with a rotating schedule.

Responsabilidades

• Lead walking and gastronomy tours in English and at least one of Italian or French.
• Deliver private and B2B group programmes, adapting content and pace to each group.
• Handle meeting-point management, check-in via booking system, headcount reconciliation, incident reporting.
• Contribute to design and update of tour scripts and itineraries, ensuring heritage zone compliance.
• Collect guest feedback and support content for platforms when needed.
• Occasional support on Granada or Sevilla operations, with travel expenses covered.

South Tours has been running walking tours, tapas and gastronomy experiences, private group programmes and nightlife formats in Málaga since 2013, and today also operates in Granada and Sevilla. We are the only operator in Málaga running free tours in Italian, and our cultural and gastronomic products are growing fast. We are a small, hands-on team: you will work directly with the management, not through layers of coordinators.

We are looking for a licensed guide who wants to build a professional career in Andalusia and enjoys working with an international public, mainly English-, Italian- and French-speaking travellers.

Tasks

• Lead walking and gastronomy tours of Málaga's historic centre (free tours, monumental and cultural itineraries, Picasso and Alcazaba routes) in English and at least one of Italian or French
• Deliver private and B2B group programmes (agencies, corporate groups, cruise passengers), adapting content and pace to each group
• Handle the operational side of each tour: meeting-point management, check-in via our booking system, headcount reconciliation, incident reporting
• Contribute to the design and update of tour scripts and itineraries, including compliance with heritage zone
• Collect and channel guest feedback and reviews; support with content for our platforms when needed
• Occasional support on Granada or Sevilla operations, with travel expenses covered

Requirements

Mandatory

• Official tour guide licence valid for Spain (habilitación de guía de turismo), or an official guide qualification from another EU/EEA member state, in which case you must already have started or completed the recognition procedure as a guide in Spain on your start date.
• English at B2 level or higher, plus Italian or French at B2 level or higher. Candidates with all three (English, Italian and French at B2+) will be given priority.
• Right to work in Spain (EU/EEA citizenship or a valid work permit).
• Availability for weekend, evening and public-holiday shifts, with a rotating schedule agreed in advance.

Highly valued

• Spanish at B2 or higher (needed for venue partners, authorities and day-to-day operations)
• Degree in Tourism, History, Art History, Humanities, Languages or a related field, completed recently
• Knowledge of Málaga and Andalusian history, art and gastronomy
• Previous experience with international groups, cruise or agency groups
• Familiarity with booking platforms
