Placements24 is seeking an experienced Leisure Centre Assistant Manager to support the Centre Manager in a busy facility in Queenstown. You will oversee daily operations, supervise a diverse team, and ensure outstanding customer service.

The role covers fitness, sports, and recreation, with responsibilities for staff rotas, safety, and maintenance, plus contributing to marketing and member experience. A proactive leader with strong communication will thrive in this community-focused setting.

Formación

• Experience supervising staff in leisure or hospitality.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of fitness, aquatic, and sports facility operations.
• Commitment to health, safety and customer service excellence.
• First Aid and CPR certifications are advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee operational aspects of the leisure centre.
• Supervise front-line staff including receptionists, instructors and cleaning personnel.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and resolve inquiries.
• Oversee maintenance, cleanliness and safety compliance.
• Contribute to marketing and promotional activities.
• Manage staff rotas and inventory of supplies.
