Placements24 is seeking a compassionate Community Support Worker to assist individuals in Queenstown with daily living activities and access to local services. You will work within a supportive framework to promote independence and social inclusion.

The role requires empathy, strong communication, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with focus on monitoring wellbeing and recording progress to support ongoing care planning.

Formación

• Previous caregiving or community support experience is advantageous.
• Certificate in Community Care or related field is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Patience, empathy and a genuine desire to help others.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct support to clients with daily living activities per care plans.
• Assist clients in accessing community resources, appointments, and social activities.
• Offer emotional support and companionship to clients.
• Monitor client wellbeing and report changes to the supervisor.
• Maintain accurate records of services provided and client progress.
• Encourage client independence and participation in community life.
