Solenis is a leading global producer of specialty chemicals focused on delivering sustainable solutions for water-intensive industries. The position provides legal support to business stakeholders in the EMEA region under guidance from the Regional Business Counsel, EMEA.
Responsibilities
- Assist in reviewing, drafting, and managing commercial contracts relevant to the company’s business and related documents (e.g., sales and procurement agreements, toll-manufacturing agreements, distribution and agency contracts, NDAs, tender documentation).
- Provide ongoing general legal support across a variety of matters and projects, including post-closing M&A integrations, data privacy (DPAs, DPIAs, security incidents, ad-hoc privacy questions), HR matters (employment law, separations, disciplinary actions), management of claims and litigations, sustainability-related legal aspects, corporate governance (drafting POAs, supporting KYC/UBO questionnaires), real estate (lease-related support), debtor’s and creditor’s rights (receivables collection, bankruptcy matters), and related activities.
- Support compliance matters, including internal investigations and remedial actions, and provide proactive compliance trainings on applicable anti-bribery and corruption laws.
- Conduct legal research and analysis, prepare presentations and consolidated reports for the Regional Business Counsel, and monitor legal developments to update the business.
Required Skills / Experience / Education
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Master’s degree in law; commenced bar training or bar admission.
- Three or more years of law firm and/or in-house practice providing counsel to regional or global business.
- Broad knowledge and experience in commercial and corporate law, litigation, labor law, data protection (including GDPR), internal investigations.
- International, cross-jurisdictional experience and exposure.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively.
- Adept at driving new ideas and adapting quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills; good judgment and decision-making; excellent oral and written communication.

Location
Home-based in the EMEA region; Poland preferred, but other locations such as Portugal, Spain, Italy, Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, and Turkey will be considered.
