Job Description:

As a Legal Assistant at StaffScout, you will remotely assist attorneys with tasks such as legal research, document preparation, and case management to ensure smooth legal operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct legal research and gather case information.
  • Draft, review, and manage legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and contracts.
  • Organize and maintain case files.
  • Communicate with attorneys, clients, and legal professionals.
  • Manage schedules and coordinate virtual meetings.
  • Prepare trial materials like exhibits and affidavits.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as filing and updating case records.

Qualifications:

  • Experience as a legal assistant or similar role.
  • Knowledge of U.S. legal terminology and procedures is a plus.
  • Proficiency in legal research and case management software.
  • Excellent English communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks.
  • Paralegal certification is a bonus.
