The successful candidate will provide legal advice on corporate matters for Group entities worldwide. This role is business-facing, fast-paced, and involves regular interaction with senior stakeholders.

What will I be doing?
  1. Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating intercompany agreements, service agreements, and other corporate support documentation to facilitate seamless operations across subsidiaries.
  2. Supporting M&A transactions, restructurings, and capital markets activities, including due diligence and coordination with advisors and stakeholders.
  3. Handling banking, financing, and treasury legal matters, including credit facilities, derivatives, and KYC/legal onboarding.
  4. Managing corporate governance, entity formations/dissolutions, record maintenance, and ensuring legal compliance.
  5. Collaborating with global legal teams and senior leaders on strategic projects, regulatory issues, and product development.
  6. Developing templates, policies, and procedures to meet new legal requirements.
  7. Preparing and tracking legal documentation for corporate actions and regulatory filings.
What skills do I need?
  • Law degree and qualified lawyer status.
  • At least 5 years post-qualification experience, preferably in a major law firm or in-house in financial services or M&A.
  • Strong background in commercial, contractual, and corporate law.
  • Knowledge of payments, financial services, or fintech is highly desirable.
  • Fluent in English; Spanish proficiency is a plus.
  • Business-oriented with excellent communication skills.
  • Tech-savvy and proficient with digital legal tools.
  • Proactive in identifying legal and business issues.
  • Creative problem-solver with attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  • Effective team player and independent worker, adaptable to different time zones.
