What will I be doing?

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various agreements such as intercompany, service, cost-sharing, loan, guarantee, and novation agreements to support seamless operations across subsidiaries.
• Supporting M&A transactions, restructurings, and capital markets activities, including due diligence and coordination with advisors and stakeholders.
• Handling banking, financing, and treasury legal matters, including credit facilities, derivatives (ISDAs), and KYC/legal onboarding.
• Managing corporate governance, including entity formations, record maintenance, and compliance with legal requirements.
• Collaborating with global legal teams and senior leaders on strategic projects, regulatory issues, and product development.
• Developing templates, policies, and procedures for new legal requirements.
• Preparing and tracking legal documentation for corporate actions and regulatory filings.

What skills do I need?

• A qualified lawyer with a law degree.
• At least 5 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in a major law firm or in-house within financial services or M&A.
• Strong background in commercial, contractual, and corporate law.
• Knowledge of payments, financial services, or fintech is highly desirable.
• Fluent in English; Spanish proficiency is a plus.
• Business-oriented mindset with collaborative skills.
• Tech-savvy with experience in digital legal tools.
• Proactive in identifying legal and business issues.
• Ability to apply law creatively to solve business challenges.
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and excellent communication skills.
