Playson is seeking a proactive Legal Counsel to scale our Legal Team in the iGaming sector. You will navigate regulatory complexity, Draft high-stakes contracts, and advise C-level leaders to align legal strategy with business objectives.

In this role, you will lead due diligence, monitor regulatory trends, and collaborate across Compliance, Product, and Business verticals to drive commercial success while safeguarding the company’s interests.

• Proven experience in b2b iGaming environments.
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills.
• Experience handling multi-jurisdictional compliance.
• Ability to communicate with C-level executives and cross-functional teams.

Responsabilidades

• Lead jurisdictional due diligence and regulatory alignment across markets.
• Draft, negotiate, and close complex commercial agreements.
• Build and maintain governance frameworks and advise leadership on risk.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Product, and Business units on legal strategy.
• Monitor evolving regulations and provide actionable guidance to exec team.
• Provide ad-hoc legal counsel to enable rapid, compliant decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Spearhead jurisdictional due diligence programs across our licensed markets, ensuring end-to-end regulatory alignment and proactive risk mitigation.
• Draft, negotiate, and close complex commercial agreements, securing optimal terms while safeguarding the group's legal position.
• Architect and maintain corporate-governance frameworks, advising leadership on strategic risk and policy optimisation.
• Partner with Compliance, Product, and Business verticals to align legal insights with commercial objectives and product roadmaps.
• Monitor and interpret evolving regulations, trends, and best practices, translating insights into actionable guidance for the executive team.
• Provide ad-hoc counsel on emerging matters to enable rapid, compliant decision-making.

Requirements

• Proven experience working within the b2b iGaming 2+ years
• LLB / LLM (or equivalent)
• 3+ years PQE
• Proven ability to navigate multi-jurisdictional frameworks and deliver practical, business-centric solutions.
• Excellence in contract drafting, negotiation, and stakeholder communication.
• Meticulous, proactive, and results-driven with strong organisational skills and ethical standards.
