As an Employment Law Specialist, you will work closely with the customer success team to provide expert advice on employment laws and regulations, primarily focusing on Spanish employment law. Your responsibilities include drafting and reviewing employment agreements, employee handbooks, and ensuring compliance with local employment regulations. You will counsel management and HR teams on various employment issues, including recruiting, employee relations, discipline, terminations, leaves of absence, discrimination, harassment, contingent worker issues, compensation, benefits, and employment litigation.
You will also contribute to developing efficient contract negotiation processes and maintaining training materials, playbooks, and guidelines. Your expertise will help ensure Deel's compliance and operational excellence across jurisdictions.
