A multinational pharmaceutical company in Sant Cugat del Vallès seeks a Legal Counsel to provide legal support for its French affiliates. You will advise on commercial law, draft contracts, and ensure compliance while collaborating internationally. Formación

• At least 5 years’ experience as in-house legal counsel or in a law firm.
• Experience in FMCG or pharmaceutical sectors is a plus.
• Knowledge of commercial, competition, marketing (advertising), and data protection laws.

Overview

As Legal Counsel, you will primarily provide legal support to the French affiliates and business units of the Uriach group, but you will also collaborate in global transversal projects led by headquarters and you will work in a truly international environment.

Responsibilities

• Your challenges
• Advise all departments of the French affiliates with regards to any legal issues they may face in their day to day (including, for example, matters related to commercial law, pharmaceutical law - drugs, medical devices, food supplements -, competition law, advertising law, etc.). Draft, review and lead the negotiation of any kind of commercial contracts required by internal stakeholders (e.g., NDA, manufacturing, distribution, licensing, service provision, etc.).
• Prepare or lead the preparation of all corporate documentation necessary for the companies within French affiliates and maintain the corporate books up to date.
• Act as Compliance Delegate for the French affiliates - with the support of the Global Compliance team
• Act as Data Champion for the French affiliates - with the support of the Global Data Protection team
• Coordinate external legal advisors and handle the communication with authorities and Courts
• Coordinate external trademark agent with regards to the trademark portfolio - with the support of the Global IP team
• Make sure all the legal documentation of the French affiliates is stored properly

Experience

Lawyer with at least 5 years’ experience as in-house legal counsel in corporate / commercial, or in a law firm. Experience in FMCG or pharmaceutical sectors is a plus.

Has knowledge on commercial, competition, marketing (advertising), and data protection laws.
