WHO ARE WE?

Sateliot is a Barcelona-based Startup in the New Space sector, becoming the first satellite telecommunications operator that will provide global and continuous connectivity to all the elements that will make up the massive Internet of Things (IoT) universe under the 5G protocol.

In order to do so, Sateliot is launching a constellation of last generation nanosatellites, located at low altitude that act as mobile towers. Sateliot is the perfect complement for large telecommunications companies by providing them with the necessary infrastructure where terrestrial technologies do not arrive.

YOUR MISSION

We are looking for a versatile Legal & Corporate Affairs Associate to support Sateliot\'s legal and compliance operations across all departments and subsidiaries. This role is key to ensuring legal consistency and alignment across jurisdictions, maintaining control over corporate obligations, and coordinating with external advisors. You will provide hands-on support in the generation, revision, and circulation of legal and administrative documents, as well as corporate housekeeping tasks for the parent company and its subsidiaries.

We are not looking for a traditional legal role within a corporate structure – this is a hybrid, generalist, and collaborative role within a fast-growing company where curiosity, adaptability, and rigor are essential.

YOUR MAIN FUNCTIONS

• Monitor and support compliance and corporate governance obligations for all subsidiaries.
• Supervise the generation and revision of legal documents (NDAs, contracts, etc.), aligning them with Sateliot’s business needs and legal standards.
• Support the circulation and signing process of board resolutions and other corporate documents.
• Act as a liaison with external legal advisors and local counsel in various jurisdictions.
• Provide support in legal and administrative matters relating to corporate, commercial, labor, and financial affairs.
• Assist in managing internal documentation, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and version control.
• Help refine and standardize templates and recurring legal documents across departments.
• Identify potential improvements in internal legal processes and propose pragmatic solutions.
• Acquire a deep understanding of Sateliot’s business to ensure contextualized legal guidance.
• Support transversal compliance tasks and risk assessment in collaboration with the executive and finance teams.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Law or similar field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in legal, compliance, or corporate affairs roles, ideally in a company with international subsidiaries or in a corporate law firm.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Comfortable managing multiple streams of work with varying degrees of complexity.
• Fluent in Spanish and English (spoken and written).
• Ability to interact with diverse teams and external partners with professionalism and clarity.
• Strong ethical standards and a practical approach to legal issues.

NICE TO HAVE

• Previous experience in a startup or scale-up environment.
• Familiarity with Spanish corporate law and international compliance obligations.
• Experience working with legal or document management tools.
• Capacity to work autonomously, with a problem-solving mindset.
• Curiosity to understand how legal aspects impact the business and identify where to contribute value.
