A diversified insurance intermediary group is looking for a Legal & Compliance Specialist to oversee compliance policies and provide legal advice in Barcelona. This full-time hybrid role requires expertise in insurance regulations and strong communication skills. Candidates should possess a degree in Law or Finance and relevant experience in the insurance sector. The position offers a dynamic work environment with focused compliance responsibilities.

Formación

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures to ensure adherence to insurance sector regulations and standards.
  • Conduct regular compliance risk assessments and propose corrective measures as needed.
  • Provide legal advice to the insurance brokerage on various legal issues and insurance market regulations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with policies, standards, and legal / regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and deliver internal training on relevant legal issues.
  • Stay updated on legislative and regulatory changes affecting the insurance industry.
  • Perform internal audits to ensure regulatory compliance and prepare reports for management.
  • Advise and train employees on compliance matters.
  • Manage communications with regulatory bodies and respond to investigations when necessary.
Requirements
