Meet the team :

The Legal Operations team is seeking a Legal Billing Specialist to support billing efforts. The role involves managing Legal's eBilling platform, onboarding legal vendors, ensuring compliance with billing policies, and monitoring the monthly accruals process. Join our high-performing, supportive team where no two days are the same We are passionate about providing innovative operational support to Dexcom's Global Legal Department.

Where you come in :

• Act as the primary contact for legal billing questions from internal and external parties, escalating issues as needed and tracking resolutions.
• Manage legal vendor onboarding, new matter setup, and ensure compliance with billing policies, engagement letters, and budgets.
• Oversee invoice submissions and approvals, review pending and approved invoices for accuracy and timeliness, and support monthly accruals reporting.
• Regularly audit vendors, matters, and invoices; generate reports for leadership.
• Evaluate and improve vendor onboarding and billing processes; develop training and knowledge materials for stakeholders.
• Support management of Legal team sites, including uploading templates, training materials, forms, and guides, and identify opportunities for self-service enhancements.

What makes you successful :

• At least three years of experience in billing, finance, operations, or data analytics.
• Experience in law firm or legal operations environments.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Familiarity with legal e-Billing systems (e.g., Brightflag) and Procure-to-pay systems (e.g., Coupa, Basware).
• Positive attitude, good judgment, and ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
• Willingness to take on additional projects and responsibilities.
• Exceptional attention to detail and numerical proficiency.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, both oral and written.
• Self-motivated and capable of thriving in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
• Fluency in German, Spanish, or French (oral and written).
• Intermediate proficiency with SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.
• Experience with data transformation tools like PowerBI or Tableau, with a preference for PowerBI.
