TransPerfect Translations International is seeking a Learning Experience Consultant in Barcelona to shape, deliver, and implement learning strategies aligned to client goals. You will collaborate with stakeholders across modalities to drive capability development and measurable impact.

You will lead workshops, map learning flows, and coordinate across creative, technology, production and operations teams to ensure timely, high-quality learning experiences for global clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• 4–5 years in a client-facing, account management or customer services role.
• 2–3 years in Localization or Training/eLearning as a Solutions Architect or Instructional Designer.
• Expert knowledge of instructional design models and learning technologies.
• Experience with eLearning tools: PowerPoint, Articulate Storyline, Rise.

Position summary:

The Learning Experience Consultant forms part of TransPerfect´s Client Services team supporting our Training & Digital Learning Solutions business line, and is responsible for shaping, delivering and implementing learning strategies that align clients´ business goals with effective, engaging learning experiences while supporting sustainable and profitable growth for the organization. Acting as both a consultant and creative lead, this role partners closely with business stakeholders to diagnose performance needs and identify the most effective learning approaches across modalities, formats, and technologies to drive capability development.

The Consultant focuses on engagements involving experience design, multimodal learning strategies, and continuous improvement. Solutions are designed to be scalable, measurable, and grounded in how people actually learn and perform at work, ensuring meaningful and lasting impact on our clients’ organizational performance.

What you´ll do:

Learning Strategy & Solution Design:

• Partner with clients & stakeholders to diagnose business and performance needs.
• Define measurable learning objectives, and shape engaging, results-driven solutions.
• Apply modern instructional design and adult learning principles to create impactful, inclusive, and accessible learning experiences across digital, instructor-led, virtual and blended formats, leveraging simulations, experiential learning, performance support, and coaching, as appropriate.

Client Partnership & Project Delivery:

• Lead collaborative workshops and working sessions to align stakeholders, refine ideas, and build consensus.
• Develop Content Maps to validate learning flow and design direction before development.
• Guide solutions from concept to delivery, coordinating creative, technology, production, and operations teams to ensure quality and timely execution.

Continuous Improvement & Impact:

• Use learner feedback, performance data and evaluation insights to measure effectiveness, identify opportunities for improvement, and evolve learning strategies.
• Ensure solutions are inclusive, accessible, and align with client goals, brand, and culture.
• Define and report account KPIs to track progress and demonstrate impact.

Sales Partnership & Account Growth:

• Act as a trusted learning strategist and consultative partner to the Sales team, contributing to discovery, solution design and compelling client proposals.
• Collaborate with Sales, Production, Designers and Account Managers to develop creative solutions, support new account onboarding, identify growth opportunities, and advance account and infrastructure initiatives.

Account & Project Management:

• Oversee account health and operational delivery, including revenue forecasting, billing, and financial tracking.
• Coordinate project administration, from quoting and job set-up to kick‑off meetings, invoicing, and collections, while maintaining clear account guidelines and ensuring alignment across teams.

Essential skills & experience required:

• Bachelor´s degree or equivalent
• Superior written and spoken communication skills in English

• 4-5 years of experience in a client-facing, account management or customer services role
• 2-3 years of experience in the Localization, or Training/eLearning industry as a Solutions Architect, Instructional Designer, Learning Experience Designer, or similar
• Expert knowledge of instructional design models, adult learning principles, and learning technologies, platforms, or production workflows
• Experience working with eLearning authoring tools (PowerPoint, Articulate Storyline, Rise)
• Strong communication, consultation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to guide project stakeholders
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Nice to have:

• Advanced working proficiency in additional foreign languages (French would be a strong advantage)
• Experience working directly with senior client stakeholders
• Experience contributing to proposal development or solution design
• Experience supporting evaluation, measurement, or learning analytics efforts
