Additional Information: This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, The Palace, a Luxury Collection Hotel Madrid. The franchisee is a separate company and employer from Marriott International Inc. They control all employment policies and practices, including hiring, firing, staffing, and benefits. Employment at this hotel is with the franchisee, not Marriott International Inc.

The role contributes to the company's values and philosophy, ensuring training and development activities align with the organization's mission and vision. It involves working with property leadership to identify organizational development needs, implementing effective training programs on topics like product knowledge, customer service, and leadership, and measuring training effectiveness. The position also manages the full recruitment cycle to attract and retain top talent and build a strong employer brand.

Qualifications include a 4-year bachelor's degree in Psychology, Human Resources, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience required is 5-7 years leading the Learning & Development department, preferably in hospitality, with proven experience in creating training curricula, facilitating training at various organizational levels, and using ROI evaluation methodologies. Deep knowledge or 5 years of experience in instructional design, understanding adult learning theories, and leading organizational culture initiatives are essential. Additionally, 2-4 years of talent acquisition experience using assessment tools are required. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English at C1 level is necessary; other languages are a plus.
