We are Socialpoint, a world-renowned mobile games studio based in sunny Barcelona. We are looking for a Lead VFX Artist to join our Studio. Your role will involve creating a variety of special effects based on particle systems, trails, models, and other 3D elements.

You will collaborate closely with the technical team during game development and R&D, and work in sync with art leads to ensure the highest quality and wow-factor of all special effects in each project.

Your responsibilities include:

1. Designing and creating visually appealing special effects for various projects.
2. Maintaining a consistent style in collaboration with the lead artist and Art Director.
3. Working with Technical artists, Designers, and other team members to maximize visual impact using particle systems and other elements.
4. Supervising and optimizing all special effects used in projects.

Requirements to join our team:

1. Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
2. Experience creating particle systems and effects using 3DSMax and Unity.
3. Deep knowledge of real-time techniques in video game development.
4. Experience in the gaming industry.
5. Passion for video games and motivation to grow.
6. Expertise in Unity, 3DSMax, and Photoshop.
