Formación

Who are we looking for?

We are actively looking for a Telecommunications engineer to lead and coordinate FOSSA telecommunications department.

You will have the opportunity to develop systems all across FOSSA portfolio: satellites, payloads, ground stations and IoT user equipment.

We are searching for individuals who know how to work in dynamic, young and agile teams supervising people and coordinating with other technical disciplines.

If you have experience in telecommunications engineering and have systems-oriented thinking, we are looking for you.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and execute the development of different RF systems from UHF, SBand and higher frequencies.
• Coordinate with external providers of RF equipment.
• Support other engineering disciplines during testing and to guarantee system coherence.
• Provide a telecommunications-oriented vision to mission conceptual design and execution.
• Generate project documentation (Reports, Tests Campaigns, Block diagrams, …).

Profile:

• Telecommunications engineer or similar.
• From 2 to 5 years of experience in the design, fabrication and testing of RF equipment in UHF and SBand.
• Experience with high frequency component implementation on PCBs
• Familiar with SDR devices and use.
• Full understanding of conceptual telecommunications concepts related to space and IoT (Polarization, Doppler, Link Budgets, …)
• Full professional proficiency in English.

Preferably:

• Educational master level.
• Demonstrable interest in the space sector.
• Experienced on antenna and RF simulation software.
• Experience with LoRa Modulation and Semtech transceivers and other transceivers like AD9361, and other common RF chipsets.
