What You Will Do

As a Full-Stack Engineer at viaPhoton, you will be part of the Digital Team, which supports the rapid growth and digital transformation of the Fiber Optic Connectivity business. You will own major product features across the stack, from design to launch, and will have close feedback loops with users and our Customer Success team.

You will work closely with a cross-functional team of engineers and domain experts to architect scalable systems, implement robust software components, and ensure the reliability and performance of our software platforms. Your technical expertise, leadership abilities, and problem-solving skills will be essential to our success as we work to revolutionize the customer experience.

Daily duties include, but are not limited to :

• Collaborating with stakeholders, product owners, and other developers to build responsive, user-friendly web applications.
• Driving the implementation of new products and features.
• Writing clean, reusable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• Writing test scripts, working with various automation tools and debuggers across the full stack.
• Shepherding your contributions through peer reviews, testing, deployment, and monitoring in production.
• Ideating on the future of our user experience, using both qualitative user feedback and quantitative analytics to identify areas of opportunity for the business.

What You Will Bring

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in software development.
• Experience with Node.js.
• Strong understanding of information architecture modeling.
• Experience with database integrations (SQL, NoSQL).
• Proficiency in cloud deployment environments (AWS).
• Familiarity with event queue implementations.
• Experience with containerization (Docker v2).
• Expertise in REST API implementation.
• Experience with unit testing.
• Experience with integration testing.
• Proficiency in working in an English-speaking environment.
• Knowledge of E2E testing and authentication (OAuth2).
• Comfortable with ambiguity and change.
• Take pride in your work and its impact.

• A proactive, self-driven mindset where your growth is dependent on you.
• Creative problem solving; if you don't know the answer, you’ll know how to find a way to it.
