A leading company in food safety is looking for a Sanitation Lead to oversee the development and implementation of sanitation practices across European facilities. The role requires collaboration with engineering and vendors, training staff, and analyzing best practices to enhance product quality and safety. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline and several years of experience in food manufacturing settings.

Formación

  • Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Engineering, Microbiology, or related field required.
  • 3-5 years experience in Food Plant Manufacturing (Maintenance, Production, Quality) necessary.

Descripción del empleo

This role involves leading the development, implementation, training, problem-solving, best practices, and technical support in Sanitation across European plants and joint ventures outside Europe.

  • Support the creation and execution of sanitation quality standards and plant standard operating procedures.
  • Participate in sanitation programs and training for plant sanitarians and partners.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and vendors to ensure equipment meets sanitary and regulatory standards.
  • Analyze data from audits, pathogen monitoring, inspections, and complaints to identify trends and corrective actions.
  • Use key performance indicators and metrics proactively to prevent issues affecting product quality and safety.

Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Engineering, Microbiology, or related field is required. 3-5 years experience in Food Plant Manufacturing (Maintenance, Production, or Quality) is also necessary.
