Job summary

Revolut Ltd in Spain is seeking a senior regulatory compliance professional to ensure our CFDs and derivative products meet UK/EEA rules and internal governance standards.

You will partner with product and business teams across markets, advise on distribution, investor protection, and product governance, and lead regulatory change initiatives.

The role requires 8+ years in financial services regulatory compliance and a deep understanding of MiFID II, COBS, EMIR, and related regimes.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of financial services experience in regulatory or product compliance.
• In-depth knowledge of UK and/or EEA regulatory frameworks.
• Direct experience with CFDs and other derivatives and their compliance risks.
• Experience advising stakeholders on regulatory matters, product launches, and governance.
• Understanding retail client distribution, investor protection, conduct, and outcomes.
• Experience translating regulatory requirements into practical processes and controls.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Product and business teams to provide regulatory advice on CFDs, derivatives, distribution strategies, and ongoing operations.
• Support product launches, in-app features, and investment services, ensuring compliance throughout the lifecycle.
• Advise on product governance, target markets, distribution arrangements, customer outcomes, and ongoing reviews.
• Apply UK/EEA regulatory frameworks (MiFID II, FCA COBS, Consumer Duty, EMIR, MiFIR, CASS) where relevant.
• Advise on client categorisation, leverage, margins, investor protection, and compliance of financial promotions and conflicts of interest.
• Support regulatory change and expansion into new markets through risk assessments and controls improvements.
• Monitor regulatory developments and collaborate with first- and second-line teams to balance obligations with objectives.
