Job summary

Revolut Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated Compliance Officer to join its remote-friendly legal team. The role focuses on implementing and maintaining the company’s compliance program across Spain, with emphasis on GDPR, AML/KYC, and data privacy.

The ideal candidate will have strong investigations and training capabilities and be comfortable operating in a remote first environment. The position requires at least 4 years in compliance, a law degree, and fluency in Spanish with the ability to

Qualifications

University degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
At least 4 years of experience in a compliance role within a corporate legal department or consultancy.
Deep knowledge of GDPR, AML/KYC and other relevant legal frameworks.
Experience in conducting internal investigations and audits.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in using compliance management software and related tools.
Ability to work independently and manage time in a remote setting.
Legally authorized to work in Spain and willing to work remotely.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain the company's comprehensive compliance program across the organization.
Conduct regular compliance audits and risk assessments to identify potential non-compliance areas.
Investigate reported breaches and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Design and deliver compliance training programs for employees at all levels.
Stay updated on legislation and regulatory changes and advise the business on impact.
Liaise with regulatory bodies and respond to inquiries.
Prepare compliance reports for senior management and the board of directors.
Promote a strong culture of compliance throughout the organization.
