Job summary

Gameloft Barcelona is seeking a Lead VFX Artist to oversee the VFX discipline across our games. You will work with the Art Director and stakeholders to ensure consistent visual and technical quality, while supporting project and studio goals.

You will lead the VFX process from concept to final delivery, contribute to evolving workflows, and collaborate with internal teams to push performance and visual excellence across platforms.

Qualifications

• Strong real-time VFX background and leadership of a team.
• Experience delivering VFX across multiple game platforms.
• Fluent English communication in an international studio.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the VFX team and set priorities.
• Ensure visual and technical unity across VFX assets.
• Collaborate with Art Leads, Producers, Gameplay, and Tech Art.
• Oversee end-to-end VFX pipeline from concept to delivery.
• Establish standards, workflows, and performance targets.
• Mentor artists and support team growth.
