Gameloft Barcelona is seeking a Lead Animator to head a team of 3D Animators and Technical 3D Animators on a new action IP. You will blend people leadership with top-tier animation, ensuring personality, readability and licensor alignment across all sequences.

You will mentor the team, set the quality standard, oversee production milestones and collaborate with Design, Programming, Art and external partners to deliver high-quality gameplay animation.

Formación

• Strong expertise in 3D character animation for games.
• Understanding of movement, weight, acting, timing and storytelling.
• Ability to establish and communicate animation quality standards.
• Experience with real-time workflows and collaboration with Technical Animators.
• Familiarity with Maya and/or 3ds Max pipelines.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and develop the animation team with regular feedback and mentoring.
• Own the animation quality bar and ensure character animation aligns with direction.
• Plan and oversee animation production, manage priorities and delivery.
• Collaborate with Game Design, Programming, Art and Technical Animation.
• Coordinate external partner animation with clear briefs and reviews.
