Acquired by Trimble in 2022 for $2 billion USD, it has grown significantly, with approximately 1,400 employees and one of the largest networks of shippers and carriers in Europe.

We are looking for a Generative AI Lead / Principal Python Engineer to help build LLM-based agentic applications. This role requires hands-on expertise with frameworks such as LangChain or LangGraph, and techniques including prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and fine-tuning. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining cutting-edge AI applications, collaborating across global teams, and providing technical oversight on capabilities, risks, and opportunities.

Main Responsibilities

1. Architect, implement, and optimize Generative AI applications leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs). Quickly learn and adopt agentic frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LangGraph).
2. Utilize RAG frameworks with techniques such as chunking, hybrid search, query translation, similarity search, vector databases, and evaluation metrics.
3. Monitor performance using observability tools like Datadog and Databricks.
4. Stay updated with the latest research in fine-tuning, RLHF, and prompt engineering advancements.
5. Translate high-level product requirements into scalable, modular system designs following modern architecture principles.
6. Develop comprehensive tests (unit, integration, end-to-end), ensure high code quality, and perform system integration and bug fixes.
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers in LLM-based solutions.
8. Work within an agile environment, plan sprints, and handle production issues efficiently.
9. Maintain CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions) and manage code in GitHub for continuous releases.
