Job Overview

We are seeking a Lead / Principle Generative AI Python Engineer (Remote) to develop LLM-based agentic applications. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining cutting-edge AI solutions, with hands-on work in frameworks like LangChain or LangGraph, prompt engineering, RAG, and fine-tuning. You will collaborate globally, contribute to product development, and provide technical oversight on AI capabilities, risks, and opportunities.

Main Responsibilities

• Develop LLM Applications : Architect, implement, and optimize Generative AI applications using Large Language Models.
• Work with RAG frameworks : Utilize techniques such as chunking, hybrid search, and vector databases.
• Monitor Performance : Use observability tools like Datadog and Databricks for analytics.
• Stay Updated : Keep abreast of advancements in fine-tuning, RLHF, and prompt engineering.
• Design System Architecture : Translate requirements into scalable, modular designs following best practices.
• Testing & Integration : Develop comprehensive tests, perform bug fixes, and ensure quality.
• Collaborate & Mentor : Work with cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers.
• Agile Delivery & CI / CD : Manage sprints, releases, and maintain CI / CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions.

Key Results

• Deliver production-ready LLM applications on schedule.
• Maintain high quality with automated testing coverage.
• Identify and communicate risks effectively.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proficiency in Python programming.
• At least 6 months experience with GenAI applications.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
• Knowledge of microservices, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), RESTful APIs, and databases (NoSQL, PostgreSQL).
• Experience with Git, CI / CD tools, and agile methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills for working with global teams.

Qualifications

• 8-15 years of engineering experience in a tier-1 organization.
• Degree in Computer Science or related field (B.Tech, M.E, M.Tech, M.S.).
• Achievements like national Olympiads, open-source contributions, or conference presentations are advantageous.
