Lead Performance Engineer - Build the Future

About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced Lead Performance Engineer to define and deliver performance testing environments, tooling, and strategy across a hybrid infrastructure. As the architect behind a new performance capability, you will have the opportunity to shape something foundational from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Lead the design and implementation of performance testing strategy across systems and teams.
2. Architect realistic test environments for load, stress, and soak testing.
3. Work with Engineering and DevOps to integrate performance testing into the development lifecycle.
4. Translate real user activity into scalable test simulations.
5. Build tooling to support system modeling and load generation.
6. Tune infrastructure and applications to support high availability and scalability.
7. Drive early performance analysis and risk mitigation across product teams.
8. Provide visibility of testing results and performance trends to technical leadership.

Requirements :

We are looking for someone with at least 8-10 years of performance engineering experience within large-scale tech environments, and at least 5+ years in a senior or lead-level role. You should have deep knowledge of performance testing tools, strong experience testing APIs, UIs, services, and enterprise databases, and ability to design replica environments that mimic production performance.
