Formación

• 10 años de experiencia en ingeniería de diseño de equipos mecánicos.
• Conocimiento de normas y códigos aplicables en la industria.

Responsabilidades

• Diseñar y calcular equipos mecánicos como recipientes a presión y intercambiadores de calor.
• Preparar especificaciones técnicas y coordinar con otras disciplinas.

Conocimientos

Diseño de equipos mecánicos

Cálculos de presión

Conocimiento de códigos y normas (ASME, TEMA, API)

Fluidez en español e inglés

Educación

Grado o Máster en Ingeniería Industrial

We are currently seeking a Mechanical Engineer to be in charge of all technical activities related to the design of static mechanical equipment (Pressure Vessels) to join the team based in Barcelona.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design and calculations of pressure vessels, storage tanks, drums, columns, heat exchangers, etc according to codes ASME, TEMA, API, AD-Merkblatt.
2. Prepare technical specifications, material requisitions and documents for purchase order.
3. Technical bid tabulations and offers analysis.
4. Checking and review of vendor’s drawings and documents.
5. Coordination with other disciplines to define placement of nozzles, support, platforms, etc, on vessels.

Qualifications and Experience

1. Bachelor or Master Degree in Industrial Engineering, specializing in Mechanical or Materials.
2. Minimum requirement 10 years experience.
3. Experience in companies providing engineering services to the Chemical, Refining, Petrochemical and Oil & Gas industry.
4. Knowledge of codes and standards such as ASME, TEMA, API, ASTM, AD-Merkblatt.
5. Fluent in Spanish and English.
