APM Terminals in Valencia, Spain, seeks an experienced Maintenance Planner to own the terminal's maintenance plan across rolling, annual and multi-year cycles. You will forecast workload, coordinate with operations, inventory, procurement and contractors, and ensure safe, timely execution.

You will use CMMS/ERP systems (SAP/IFS/Maximo/Infor EAM) to monitor planning, drive reliability, and develop the team through coaching and clear ownership. Fluent Spanish and English are required.

Formación

• Hands-on maintenance planning and scheduling experience in heavy-asset environments such as ports or utilities.
• Supervisory experience leading maintenance technicians and planners.
• Strong technical knowledge across mechanical, electrical, civil and hydraulic disciplines.
• Experience using CMMS/EAM platforms to govern work, plans, schedules and reporting.

Responsabilidades

• Own the terminal maintenance plan across rolling, annual and multi-year cycles.
• Forecast workload and resource requirements and translate asset strategies into executable local work packages.
• Plan preventive and predictive maintenance, refurbishments, overhauls and major interventions with safe execution.
• Govern work order planning, scheduling and allocation across maintenance teams and contractors with complete documentation.
• Prioritise and manage the maintenance backlog using asset criticality, risk, service levels and costs.
• Build maintenance OPEX budgets and rolling forecasts from plans and historical performance.
• Use CMMS/ERP systems and analytics to monitor work control, plan adherence, and reporting.
