Job Description:

If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you! We are hiring a Lead Java Backend Developer for SmartTV to join our team. Location: Anywhere in Spain! Enjoy the flexibility of remote work.

As a Lead Java Developer with knowledge in Java, you will play a key role in developing, customizing, and maintaining applications and backend systems for Smart TV platforms. This position requires experience in Smart TV development environments, multimedia technologies, and a deep understanding of scalable, high-performance architectures to deliver exceptional experiences across devices.

Your key tasks will include:

1. Being part of the Agile TV team, contributing to the development and evolution of TV products and services.
2. Helping design the architecture.
3. Participating in developing new products and enhancing existing ones, contributing to architectural decisions.
4. Designing and implementing new features to support backend modules and improve platform functionality.
5. Developing high-performance, reliable, secure, and scalable applications.
6. Mentoring other team members.

You must have:

• 8+ years of experience in backend development with Java.
• Expertise in software development best practices (SOLID, Clean Code), including optimization, documentation, and testing.
• Strong knowledge of Java 8+, Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security), and dependency injection.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with database technologies like SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis).
• Experience with multithreading, concurrency, and performance tuning.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Proficiency with Git and version control practices.
• Experience working in Agile methodologies.
• Experience working with AWS.
• Fluent in Spanish (C1/C2) and English (B2+ or higher).
• Must reside in Spain with a valid work permit.

• Experience working in AI products.
