About the role

We seek a Full-time Lead Instructor for our Data Science & Machine Learning Bootcamp in our Remote campus. If you're passionate about data, machine learning, and sharing your expertise, this role is for you!

Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire academic experience of the bootcamp
• Teach remotely on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, with specified hours
• Manage Teaching Assistants to support student success
• Foster a safe, supportive, and energetic community accommodating diverse learning styles
• Challenge students to think strategically and develop user experience solutions
• Inspire students to identify passions and pursue ongoing learning
• Collaborate with Program and Outcomes Managers to support students' professional goals
• Administer assessments and provide timely feedback
• Teach core topics: Python, data handling, SQL, ML algorithms, deep learning, NLP, computer vision
• Lead hands-on projects to develop practical skills
• Ensure mastery of program outcomes like deploying ML models and understanding MLOps
• Collaborate with the global team to improve curriculum and develop content
• Create engaging lessons, exercises, and mini-projects

Community Building

• Foster a sense of community and participate in student events

Requirements

• 3-5 years in Data Science, Machine Learning, or related field, preferably in leadership
• Fluent in English
• Passionate about data tech and teaching
• Experience with deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
• Proven creation of new techniques and materials
• Ability to adapt lesson plans based on student success and challenges
• Clear instructions and organized activity management
• Experience managing and motivating teams
• Strong communication skills and attention-grabbing presentation
• Organized, reliable, open to feedback, and passionate about mentoring in tech
